The Scawling Story
A business born out of the values of the family farm
Scawling Farm sat in a small village in North Yorkshire, deriving its name from a wood that surrounded it. Whilst beautiful, the wood left no room to expand the farm with the requirements of modern Britain. This led to it's closure and subsequent sale, taking generations of my family history with it.
Today, Stays by Scawling is a quiet, hand-picked portfolio of serviced apartments across the county, run with the same care and values generations of my family put into looking after the land.
Every property is owner-operated, fully managed and held to a single standard: the kind of place I would book for my own family.

Hotel-quality linen
Quality linen and towels, changed weekly on stays of seven nights or more. Extra towels available for your stay.

Hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and a coffee machine available in all properties as standard.

Fast Wifi
Wifi provided in all flats, with a wired connection also available guaranteeing the fastest speeds.

Self check ins
Self check in available on all properties with either a key safe at the property or a local collection point.

Welcome pack for your stay
Every property has a welcome pack introducing the area, the property, your nearest shops, where to eat and where to visit locally. The welcome pack also includes coffee, tea & milk for your first night - getting you off to the best possible start.
